08-14-08 - End Wing Attach Assembly
The End Wing Attach Assembly goes on the end of the wing spar opposite
the wingtip.
Two rough cut AL angle pieces.
One of these things is not like the others... I miss
interpreted the plans (read as: didn't read the plans) and marked the
cut in the wrong place on the lower angle. It is supposed to
look like the marks on the upper piece,
After a minor recut of material here's the parts for the two assemblies.
To align the block correctly on the angle I marked the center of the
hole and the location on the angle that the hole is supposed to line up
with. The camera makes the line look like its not aligned
with the hole - it is.
Clamming the block and shim into the correct location for drilling.

Prepairing to drill the block and the angle to #30. That is
the size I left the holes in the block vs. up drilling to 3/8 as called
out in the plans.
Now I'm updrilling to full size for the AN4 bolts. I'll ream
these holes just like the aft spar attach plates and root rib angles.
