Flap Drive Mounts & Beginning Aft Fuse
After relaxing in Hawaii for two weeks its hard to get back into the
swing of things. I picked back up where I left off with the
flap drive mounts. One is complete and one needs pilot holes.
Left mount bracket pilot drilled. Notice the hole on the
lower right is a bit low - I may end up remaking this bracket.
Shifting gears once again, I've moved to the aft fuse. My
current plan of attack is to go through page by page for the rear and
then front fuse making the components until all of the parts are
complete. Then I'll start actually assembling components.
I haven't ordered the hardware kit yet (I'm making my own
list) so when I get to something that needs hardware I'm working around
it. I have PLENTY of parts to keep me busy until I order the
hardware.
Back to making parts from channel.
The rear (#5) vertical channel gets made from tail post channel.
Before getting to far into cutting and shaping I have to straighten up
a bit. I have parts piling up everywhere.
Here's the vertical stabilizer parts neatly saran wrapped together.
Shipping plastic holds things together very well until I get
ready to mess with them.
